Founder, Mel Evans, has over thirty years experience in a range of different industries, with a strong emphasis on regeneration and development. With expertise in both public and private sector organizations, she has worked in the property development, leisure, tourism, regeneration, commercial, food and non-food retail and business to business sectors. Prior to setting up me marketing, her most high-profile task to date was the launch of Birmingham's Bullring.

Bullring Birmingham is Europe’s largest retail regeneration project. As Marketing and PR Manager for the award-winning £500 million project, Mel spear-headed the marketing and pr campaign for over four years – creating, coordinating and implementing the marketing and pr strategy from inception to launch.

Controlling a marketing budget of £6 million, she implemented a programme of events, presentations, public and media relations, advertising and promotional activity to reposition Bullring and Birmingham as a quality leisure destination, and supported the leasing of over 1million square feet of retail space - achieving 97% pre-let on launch day.

Bullring’s public launch in September 2003 attracted unprecedented media coverage for a shopping centre opening, and a record public attendance of over 270,000 people. The launch PR was valued at £5.5 million, achieving coverage on a national, international, regional and local scale with representatives from all national and regional broadcast radio and TV, as well as over 40 trade and consumer print media in attendance. The marketing and pr for Bullring has won ten awards, including two international MAXI awards.
